Literal HUNDREDS of authors come to the Third Coast Author & Book Festival - it's the perfect vacation for the reader or the ideal day trip for a local literature lover.
Last year, short of 250 authors were spread around local businesses, cafés, toy shops, galleries, and restaurants across Downtown and Centertown Grand Haven - for the low cost of absolutely $0 (totally free,) attendees strolled between businesses meeting their favorite authors, getting their books signed, and getting their next great read.
Here's the deal: the spread out nature of the festival is more than unique - it's great. Instead of having a packed convention hall you can hardly breathe in, you end up with minimal lines and a little space to breathe.

NEW THIS YEAR: Author panels! Stop in during the festival to listen to panels of your favorite authors talk about the things that inspire them, motivate them, and get them past challenges. Sometimes, you'll even get a chance to ask questions and get some awesome answers.

What's better than the smell of a brand new book? Nothing.
On March 21st, Third Coast might just have the biggest selection of books in the entire world - buy books, limited editions, and signed copies directly from hundreds of authors during festival, or stop into local bookstores like The Book Cellar, where thousands of books are available for purchase.

Great - you've met all your favorites at our local businesses... now what?
Wouldn't it be cool if you could go to a party with all your favorite authors while benefiting an incredible local cancer support charity?
Yes, it would. The best part? You can.
After you've met all your favorite authors around town, come to the evening charity gala benefitting Bluebird Cancer Retreats. Spend a night with the authors, and enjoy food, drinks, and a keynote speech, while mingling with your favorite authors in a more casual setting.
